About Ribhu Vohra
Ribhu Vohra is an environmental educator, National Geographic Explorer, and co-founder of WasteLess, a non-profit research organization in Tamil Nadu, South India. With over a decade of experience in sustainable waste management education, he has developed innovative programmes that have reached more than 4 million children across India.
Ribhu holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Hotelschool The Hague and a Diploma in Training Management Skills. His expertise spans curriculum development, teacher training, waste audits, and project management.
Under his leadership, WasteLess has created successful educational initiatives including Garbology 101, kNOw PLASTICS, and Sea Change. These programmes teach children about waste minimization and sustainable consumption.
Ribhu has established key partnerships with government education departments, integrating environmental content into state curricula. His work has gained international support, including from National Geographic. A dynamic presenter, Ribhu has shared his expertise through various platforms including TEDx.
